RAIL. MICRO HOUSING
While working on the Czechia02 project with The Why Factory, creating visions for Moravia, I looked at a specific situation recurring in this country. I was fascinated by the amount of unused, overgrown railway tracks with no future use. In the rural parts of the land, these tracks seem to have a beautiful gloomy atmosphere, however, in the city, they create a barrier with no particular context.
Looking at the urban sprawl situation, I've created a vision of reusing these inner-city railways as a form of micro-community scale living, to further density the city. Bringing people to these abandoned places can have the potential of rebirth. This vision could be applied not only on a regional scale but globally.
I've also created an example of such a micro-house with a floor area of only 22m² fit for 2 people.
